Privacy Policy

The company ZEPHIR (trade name KEMEO, brand Akrono) places great importance on the protection of your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

This policy covers two distinct scopes, addressed separately below: the akrono.com showcase website (sections 1 to 8) and the Akrono Badgeuse mobile app (iOS) (dedicated section at the end of the page).

The akrono.com showcase website

This first part concerns only the akrono.com showcase website. Apart from the forms described below, the website collects no personal data and uses no tracking cookies.

2. Data Collected

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

Anonymous browsing data: pages visited and visit duration, measured via Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that uses no tracking cookies.

Form data: when you request a demo or download our brochure, we collect the information you provide (name, email address, company, and depending on the form, phone number and headcount).

Technical data: when you submit a form, your IP address, an approximate location (city, region, country) and your browser are recorded for security and lead qualification purposes.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

Responding to your requests

Processing your demo and download requests and getting back to you. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest.

Improving the site

Measuring traffic anonymously to improve our content. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Security

Preventing abuse and fraudulent submissions. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

4. Data Retention

Data collected through forms is kept for a maximum of 3 years from your last contact with us, in line with the recommendations of the French data protection authority (CNIL) regarding commercial prospecting. Anonymous browsing data does not identify you and is kept in aggregated form.

5. Recipients and Processors

Your data is intended for our sales teams. We rely on the following processors, who act on our instructions:

DigitalOcean

Hosting of the website and database.

Resend

Sending confirmation and notification emails.

ipapi.co

Approximate geolocation from the IP address.

Some of these providers are located outside the European Union. Any transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses). We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

6. Your Rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

7. Cookies

The site uses no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Only cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the site may be stored. Traffic measurement is performed without cookies via Umami.

8. Security

We implement appropriate security measures:

Secure hosting and restricted access to data

Collection limited to strictly necessary data

Akrono Badgeuse app (iOS)

This second part concerns the Akrono Badgeuse mobile app for iPad (iOS), deployed by client companies to let their employees clock their working time. The terms below are specific to the app and complement, without replacing, the employer's own policy.

Data controller and processor

The employer (the client company deploying the time clock) is the data controller for its employees' data. ZEPHIR (brand KEMEO / Akrono), 117 rue de Charenton, 75012 Paris, France, acts as a processor within the meaning of the GDPR, on behalf of and according to the instructions of the employer.

Data processed by the app

The categories below match those declared in App Store Connect:

Name

Employee identity: first name, last name and, where applicable, profile photo (avatar).

Identifiers

Internal employee ID, iPad identification token and employee PIN code (stored locally in encrypted/hashed form for offline operation).

Usage Data

Clocking data: timestamp and type of entry (arrival, break, return from break, departure).

Photos

Depending on the employer's configuration, a photo taken at clock-in time.

User Content

Depending on the employer's configuration, a handwritten signature captured at clock-in time.

Purposes

Data is processed exclusively for the management and monitoring of working time on behalf of the employer. No data is used for advertising, profiling or tracking purposes. The app performs no third-party analytics and no geolocation.

Legal basis

Performance of the employment contract, legal obligation to record working time, and the employer's legitimate interest in organizing and monitoring activity.

Recipients

Data is sent to the employer's Akrono server and accessible only to authorized staff of the company (HR, managers). No commercial sharing with third parties.

Storage and security

Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS)

On the iPad: tokens stored in the secure iOS vault (Keychain)

Clocking cache and queue in a local database, enabling offline operation and automatic synchronization when the network returns

Server hosting on DigitalOcean (European Union)

Retention periods

Clock-in photos are kept for 48 hours and then automatically deleted. Other data is kept according to the employer's policy and the legal obligations applicable to working-time records.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction. As the employer is the data controller, these rights are exercised primarily with them.
